For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by two things: the intricate systems of technology and the even more complex systems of the human mind. My journey has taken me through the heart of the tech industry, but my passion has always remained with the bigger questions—the ones that lie just beyond the edge of a data sheet or a line of code.
This blog is my contribution to that essential dialogue. In an industry focused on speed and scale, I believe our greatest responsibility is to pause and ask: Why? What kind of society are we building with these powerful tools? How is this new form of intelligence affecting our own?
Here, we will explore these questions together. We’ll look to Plato to understand the “shadows on the wall” created by modern algorithms. We’ll discuss dopamine and brain chemistry to build more human-centric technology. We’ll investigate how AI can be a force for societal good, from our cities to our justice systems.
I don’t claim to have all the answers—who really does? My goal is to be a thoughtful guide. This is a space for inquiry, for questioning our assumptions, and for imagining a future where technology amplifies our best human qualities. Let’s be brave enough to think for ourselves and co-create a future we can all be proud of.
